Religion by its very nature is meant to be inspirational. The sources of that inspiration can come from many sources. Some are obvious, some not so. Here is a somewhat eclectic mix of quotes, from the traditional to the progressive:
This first inspirational religious quote is from the book of Joshua, in the Bible:
"The eternal god is the refuge and the underneath are the everlasting arms."
